Dublin City University – School of Law and Government

Up to €15,000 per annum plus fees

The School of Law and Government at Dublin City University is a research active school with world-class faculty willing to supervise research students on topics in their areas of specialism. We invite applicants for PhD research in any area of law, politics or international relations.

The School operates a full-time PhD programme with a range of taught courses in the first year and further professional training offered in other years. As well as a generous tax-free stipend of up to €15,000, we also support our students with funding for conference and research travel. The School also gives its PhD students opportunities to teach courses.

Prospective students should identify a School of Law and Government faculty member with a specialism in their proposed research area – see here – and would be advised to contact that faculty member in advance of an application.

For more information on the PhD programme see here.

Applicants should send a CV and research proposal to Dr. David Doyle by Friday 3rd May.
