EY hires 150 lawyers in India

The Indian arm of the global consultancy firm Ernst and Young has hired 150 lawyers to join a new vertical, e-Discovery which is part of its forensics arm. The group will provide back office support to law firms and will be in line with Indian law which does not allow a firm to provide auditing and legal services under one roof. The new recruits join a 600 strong team and will be managing the technical submission requirements for companies on global investigations and litigations.
